Tamasha
Tamasha (English: Spectacle) is an upcoming Indian romantic drama film directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Ali and Sajid Nadiadwala. It stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.Principal photography of the film began in Corsica, France in July 2014.The film score is composed by A. R. Rahman. The film is scheduled to release on 25 December 2015.

Production
Development
In 2012, Ali began working on this project after Rockstar, once again working with A. R. Rahman and Ranbir Kapoor. The lead female role was rumored to be either Katrina Kaif or Anushka Sharma. However, Deepika Padukone was confirmed in September 2013. In an interview, Kapoor had revealed that the film was titled Window Seat, but later Ali stated it was only a working title and later on the title Tamasha was finalized.As per reports, Ranbir Kapoor plays a free spirited person who wants everybody around him to be happy. He is a nomad, going out of his way to please people.
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Padukone stated that her character is a fan of the French comic series, Asterix, which takes place in Corsica, France.Her character in the film sets out on an adventure wherein she meets Kapoor's character.They both explore the island and, along the way, they form a troupe of sorts to stage dramatic plays and also fall passionately in love.The troupe is one of the reasons for the film's title Tamasha as it refers to the Shakespearean monologue, 'All the world's a stage and all the men and women merely players'.In August 2014, Padma Bhushan winner Teejan Bai was roped in to perform Pandavani and narrations of the Mahabharata for the film.

Filming
Principal photography began in Corsica, France on July 9, 2014 and was wrapped on July 30, 2014.Several images and dance sequence of a song "Dil Ka Bayaan" by Mohit Chauhan and shot at Bastia Museum Café were leaked in August 2014.Filming began in Shimla on December 1, 2014.It featured child artistes playing the young characters of Kapoor's and Padukone's in an unknown flashback sequence.Kapoor was observed sporting a countryside look.
In another scene he had donned as a graduating student from Jaypee University of Information Technology.On January 16, 2015, Padukone was filmed at suburbs and old airport of Kolkata.The Delhi schedule of filming began on January 29, 2015 and will continue for three months.Scenes featuring Ranbir Kapoor were shot at the Time Tower Business Park in Gurgaon.
